Apr: Aiden Stanley, graduate student at Rutgers, visited the herbarium on April 9 to study the toxic chemistry of our clover (Trifolium) specimens.
Mar: Dr. Hardy's forensic casework was featured in the San Juan Daily Star on March 25.
Mar: Dr. Hardy's forensic casework was featured in the New York Times Science section on March 17.
Feb: Micaiah Weaver (MU '26) and Ernesto Palmese (MU '27) received BSI grants to support their DNA barcoding and forensic and ethnobotanical research in the Herbarium.
Aug: Ernesto Palmese (MU Molec. Bio '27) is the 2025-26 recipient of the Alex Henderson Scholarship and will be conducting research in the herbarium on the molecular systematics and ethnobotany of taro.
