3rd Annual Herbarium Open House
Friday, 27 April 2012, 7-9 pm, Herbarium, Room 270 in Roddy Science Center, Millersville University

The Millersville University James C. Parks Herbarium, Department of Biology, invites the public and the University community to the 3rd Annual Herbarium Open House. This year will showcase undergraduate research in the Herbarium.

Nate Hartley (MU Botany '13) will talk about the digital plant atlas (www.wikiplantatlas.org) that he has been involved with testing.

Nanette Raczka (MU Botany '12) will talk about her work modeling the impact of climate change on the spread of invasive trees and provide a brief prospectus of her upcoming fieldwork to study potato cultivation in Peru.

Chris Hardy, Keeper of the Herbarium, will be available to answer questions about the Herbarium. Light refreshments will be served.
